Smart Sips Alcohol Screening

From 11am-2pm The Smart Sips, Smart Choices event will take place. This is a fun scavenger hunt event meant to help students learn how to make safe decisions about alcohol.

Each student will receive a “roadmap” where they will stop at each station to learn a fact (psychoeducation) and participate in an activity to earn a check mark on their roadmap and receive a giveaway (i.e., t-shirts, drink covers, etc.).

Stations include:
Counseling Services: alcohol screening, learn the facts about healthy drinking
DOS: Facts about on campus drinking
Campus Rec: Have fun with drink goggles (learn what it is like to drive impaired)
AVI: Sample Halloween mocktails and take some drink recipes home
Meridian Healthcare: How to get connected to alcohol and substance treatment
